Privacy policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

1. Who we are

Awash Valley Technologies Inc. ("we") makes Warmback, Hibret and this website. This policy explains what personal information we handle and why. Each product's own privacy notice gives more detail for that product.

When a business or church uses our products, it decides about the information of its own customers or members, and we store and protect that information for it.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, phone number, and a password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • What you put into a product: for example leads and messages in Warmback, or posts, prayer requests and profile details in Hibret.
  • Billing details: what you bought and paid. Card numbers go directly to our payment provider (Stripe) or PayPal; we never see or store them.
  • Technical records: what is needed to keep accounts safe and the service running, for example sign-in times and error logs.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Why we use it

To run the products you use, to keep them secure, to bill you, to answer your questions, and to meet our legal obligations. We never sell personal information and never show advertising in our products.

4. Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the products, under agreements that protect the information: for example Microsoft Azure (hosting), our email and text message providers, Stripe and PayPal (payments), and AI providers for AI features (they may not use your information to train their models). We share information if the law requires it.

5. Where it is kept and for how long

Our products store their data in Canada (Microsoft Azure, Canada Central), encrypted in transit and at rest. Some service providers may process information in other countries, such as the United States. We keep information while an account is active, and delete it after the account ends, except what the law requires us to keep (for example billing records).

6. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your personal information, under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other laws that apply to you. If your information is in a product used by a business or church, you can also ask them directly.
